Hero for a Day

2013-2014

As a spin-off from the Field & Stream Heroes of Conservation program, Hero for a Day projects complete important conservation projects with an eager group of volunteers. Jodi helps connect Field & Stream with conservation organizations that have on-the-ground conservation projects so that they can be featured as Hero for a Day project. These projects are filmed and the videos run on the Hero for a Day project site, allowing the groups to be recognized for the hard work that they are doing and giving them a quality marketing and communications tool to share with their members.

2014 Hero for a Day projects Jodi helped connect included – Utah State Wildlife Area (Mule Deer Foundation), Montana Sage Grouse Fence Marking (Sage Grouse Initiative), New Jersey Wetland Clean up (U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service), and Restoring a California Wetland (U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance).

Jodi helped connect Field & Stream to a number of projects in 2013 as well – here’s a summary video of those projects.
