My latest blog ran today on Camo is the New Black. I am particularly proud of this article because it describes one of my passions – surf fishing, and talks about how we’re bringing up our daughter to be an outdoorswoman. Check it out!
The Wildlife Management Institute’s Outdoor News Bulletin went live today. Articles about sessions and workshops at the North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference, leadership training and grant opportunities, a new conservation framework for important species in Texas, and much more. It also spotlights two awards that WMI’s latest publication, Ducks, Geese & Swans of North America received.
Last year, I got connected with a great dog product company called Dublin Dog. Our Brittany Mesa looks snazzy in their beautiful (and functional!) collars and leads, and the travel beds and blankets are the best. Here’s my latest blog for them!

Today Backcountry Hunters & Anglers released the report that I did for them – Our Public Lands-Not for Sale. I’m really excited to see this report go live, it was a fun project for a great group of folks on an issue I care a lot about!
